We are founded by three ex-Big 4 employment tax specialists with over 60 years’ combined experience in benefits and expenses and the technology around it. Between us we have run PSA, P11D and expenses compliance for large and small employers across the board, and have seen how much of a modern company’s compliance process now depends on getting the technology right.
AI is changing how tax teams and advisers operate, and employment tax is not immune to this change. PSA.I is our answer for the PAYE Settlement Agreement.
The people behind PSA.I
David Chandler
David is the tax lead at PSA.I and is responsible for classification accuracy and the HMRC positions the platform takes. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years in employment tax, including Director at a Big 4 firm, advising employers of all sizes on PAYE compliance, benefits and expenses, IR35 and off-payroll working, and internationally mobile employees. He has specialised in technology-led solutions to employment tax processes for large multinationals. He is a Director of HRUX, sits on the CIOT Employment Taxes Subcommittee, and writes for Tax Adviser magazine.

James looks after product at PSA.I. He has over 15 years in employment tax and tax technology, including Senior Manager at KPMG and Director and Global Employment Tax Technology Lead at Vialto Partners. Over that time he has built three PSA tools; PSA.I is the third, and the one that draws on everything the first two taught him. He has also led technology delivery in the public sector, including the Pensions Dashboards Programme at the Money and Pensions Service, and worked with the Government Digital Service, the NCSC and MOD.

He is a Director of HRUX and writes regularly on company car, EV and salary sacrifice tax for the fleet press. His focus is on technology and user-experience-led design.
